WHO

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council is a membership Association comprised of individuals involved in and having an interest in dealing with the fresh produce and floral industries. Members include those involved with growing, shipping, wholesaling, brokerage, distributing, or retailing of produce and/or floral items. Members may also be involved with allied industries, commodity groups, foodservice, or other associations.

WHAT

We are a non-profit, voluntary organization which communicates industry and product information to consumers, educators, and the general public and provide a platform for members to be able to network within the association.

PRODUCE/FLORAL EXPOS - Annual exhibitions and seminars held in both Northern and Southern California promoting information to those who are in retail produce and floral positions, food and health professionals and foodservice personnel.

PUBLICATIONS - A variety of publications are produced to promote the produce and floral industries. The FPFC Magazine - Fresh Digest is a bi-monthly trade magazine with an industry orientation that reaches thousands in the industry.

COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT - Representatives from member companies have the opportunity to participate on planning committees for the Council's activities. Members have the opportunity to meet new industry contacts and grow their leadership skills through committee involvement.

FRESH FACTS - A weekly column sent to media food writers and editors throughout the nation, highlighting season fresh produce and floral items.
