WHO

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council is a membership Association comprised of companies involved in and having an interest in dealing with the fresh produce and floral industries. Members include those involved with growing, shipping, wholesaling, brokerage, distributing, or retailing of produce and/or floral items. Members may also be involved with allied industries, commodity groups, foodservice or other associations.

WHAT

We are a non-profit, voluntary organization which communicates industry and product information to consumers, educators, and the general public and provide a platform for members to be able to network within the association.

A weekly column sent to media food writers and editors throughout the State, highlighting seasonal fresh produce and floral items.

PRODUCE-FLORAL
EXPO

Annual exhibition and seminars providing information to those who are in retail produce and floral positions, food and health professionals and foodservice personnel.

PUBLICATIONS

A variety of publications are produced to promote the produce and floral industries. The Fresh Digest is an excellent trade magazine with an industry orientation, In conjunction with the Agriculture in the Classroom Program, Lesson Plans are developed and distributed to teachers to educate students on the benefits of fresh fruit and vegetable consumption and the role of agriculture in our lives. The Nationwide 5 A Day programs are actively promoted by the FPFC with a variety of programs and events.

NETWORKING
OPPORTUNITIES

Membership Luncheons, Golf Tournaments, Bowling Tournaments, participation in the City of Hope fundraising efforts, education seminars, expos, mixers and many other activities give members the opportunity to meet and interact providing an excellent means of communication.

Member Dues: $41.25 per month - fees calculated for balance of calendar year based on month in which application received. All companies must designate one (1) Key Contact. Payment of dues permits submission of up to three (3) representatives per company to be published on the FPFC roster. Annual renewal $495.00. Please note: For qualified individuals, a $50.00 per year Student Membership is available.
